Classico Features
Hull
The hull is a moderate deadrise (13 degrees at the transom) vee with a wide spray chine for a smooth, dry ride. Two strakes enhance life and directional stability. With either engine choice a speed of 50MPH is obtainable. The Classico Boat jumps up smoothly onto a plane with little bow rise, and will stay on plane down to 16 MPH. Handling is smooth and predictable, and the boat is a pleasure to drive. 30MPH is an easy, relaxed cruising speed. Construction is PVC cored fiberglass with the finest bi-directional layup. A structural grip below the sole adds exceptional rigidity. Construction meets or exceeds ABS and Lloyd’s specifications. The core gives the solid feel of a wooden hull.
Decking
Two deck systems are available. The teak/holly or mahogany/holly deck is from Teakdecking Systems (teakdecking.com). The 3/8” deck is hand selected and used on the finest yachts by the most distinguished boat builders. The digital deck, U.S. Patent#6,116,181, is a digitally printed mahogany wood grain finish. Additional patents are pending. This digital imprint incorporates the latest in printing capabilities, utilizing the highest quality UV resistant pigmented inks available in the industry. Both types of wood grain finishes are then top coated with a clear finish further enhancing the UV resistance as well as providing a superior and durable finish. The digital wood grain finish is maintenance free and can be easily replaced at any time should damage occur.
Upholstery
Custom upholstery throughout. A Whisper® vinyl offers the look and feel of leather with the advantages of vinyl. Bucket seats swivel and glide to your liking. Sport package seating on the Veloce 20 offers a large storage area for wake boards, skis, and accessories.
Engine
Stock engines are from Mercury Marine or Volvo Penta.
Hardware
All deck hardware is polished 31 stainless steel. The boat is well suited for use in salt or fresh water.
